Description
CD86 Monoclonal Antibody, Biotin [mB7-2] (CPAB0368)
The CD86 Polyclonal Antibody (CPAB0368) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the CD86 protein, a crucial co-stimulatory molecule involved in immune response regulation. This antibody, derived from rabbits, has high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the CD86 protein, it allows for the detection and analysis of this protein in various cell types, making it an ideal choice for studies in immunology, cancer research, and autoimmune disorders.CD86, also known as B7-2, plays a key role in the activation of T cells by providing the necessary co-stimulatory signals for effective immune responses.
Understanding the function and regulation of CD86 is essential for developing targeted therapies for diseases such as cancer, autoimmune disorders, and infectious diseases. By studying CD86 expression and activity, researchers can gain insights into immune modulation and potential treatment strategies for a variety of conditions.Overall, the CD86 Polyclonal Antibody (CPAB0368) is a valuable tool for researchers looking to explore the role of CD86 in immune regulation and disease pathogenesis. Its high reactivity, specificity, and validation for Western blot applications make it a reliable choice for studies in immunology and beyond.

Background: | CD86 type I membrane protein is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily which is expressed by antigen-presenting cells, and acts as the ligand for two proteins at the cell surface of T cells, CD28 antigen and cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated protein 4. CD86 binding with CD28 protein is a co-stimulatory signal for initiation of the T-cell. CD86 binding with CTLA-4 negatively regulates T-cell activation and diminishes the immune response. |
