The CD63 Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (CAB19023) is a valuable tool for researchers studying CD63, a key protein involved in cell adhesion, migration, and activation. This antibody, produced using rabbit monoclonal technology, exhibits high specificity and sensitivity in detecting CD63 in human samples.CD63 is a member of the tetraspanin family and is known for its role in regulating intracellular trafficking and exosome biogenesis. It is commonly used as a marker for studying lysosomal and endosomal pathways, as well as for investigating exosome release and uptake mechanisms. The CAB19023 antibody is validated for use in various applications, including Western blotting, immunofluorescence, and flow cytometry.
Its ability to specifically bind to CD63 protein makes it an essential tool for researchers exploring the functions of CD63 in processes such as cell signaling, immune response, and tumor metastasis.By using the CD63 Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (CAB19023), researchers can gain valuable insights into the mechanisms underlying cell communication, vesicle trafficking, and cancer progression. This antibody serves as a reliable reagent for elucidating the roles of CD63 in physiological and pathological conditions, paving the way for new therapeutic strategies targeting this important protein.

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the transmembrane 4 superfamily, also known as the tetraspanin family. Most of these members are cell-surface proteins that are characterized by the presence of four hydrophobic domains. The proteins mediate signal transduction events that play a role in the regulation of cell development, activation, growth and motility. The encoded protein is a cell surface glycoprotein that is known to complex with integrins. It may function as a blood platelet activation marker. Deficiency of this protein is associated with Hermansky-Pudlak syndrome. Also this gene has been associated with tumor progression. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different protein isoforms.
