The CD45RB Polyclonal Antibody is a valuable tool for researchers studying CD45RB, a cell surface marker associated with T cell activation and differentiation. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific for human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the CD45RB protein, this antibody enables the detection and analysis of CD45RB expression in various cell types, making it ideal for studies in immunology and autoimmune disease research.CD45RB is a critical regulator of T cell function, influencing the balance between regulatory and effector T cells.
Dysregulation of CD45RB expression is associated with autoimmune diseases, inflammatory disorders, and cancer. Therefore, understanding the role of CD45RB in immune responses is essential for developing targeted therapies for these conditions.Overall, the CD45RB Polyclonal Antibody is a valuable tool for researchers investigating the function of CD45RB in health and disease, providing insights into T cell-mediated immune responses and potential therapeutic strategies.

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) family. PTPs are known to be signaling molecules that regulate a variety of cellular processes including cell growth, differentiation, mitosis, and oncogenic transformation. This PTP contains an extracellular domain, a single transmembrane segment and two tandem intracytoplasmic catalytic domains, and thus is classified as a receptor type PTP. This PTP has been shown to be an essential regulator of T- and B-cell antigen receptor signaling. It functions through either direct interaction with components of the antigen receptor complexes, or by activating various Src family kinases required for the antigen receptor signaling. This PTP also suppresses JAK kinases, and thus functions as a regulator of cytokine receptor signaling. Alternatively spliced transcripts variants of this gene, which encode distinct isoforms, have been reported.
