Description
CD40 Monoclonal Antibody, Biotin [hCD40] (CPAB0325)
The CD40 Antibody Biotin (CPAB0325) is a valuable tool for researchers studying CD40, a cell surface receptor involved in immune responses and inflammation. This polyclonal antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific for human samples and has been validated for use in various applications, including immunohistochemistry and flow cytometry.CD40 is a critical mediator of immune activation, playing a key role in the communication between immune cells and promoting immune responses. Dysregulation of CD40 signaling has been implicated in a variety of diseases, including autoimmune conditions and cancer.
By targeting CD40 with this antibody, researchers can investigate the expression and function of this receptor in different cell types and tissues, providing valuable insights into its role in disease pathogenesis and potential therapeutic interventions.Overall, the CD40 Antibody Biotin (CPAB0325) is a reliable tool for research in immunology, cancer biology, and inflammatory disorders, offering precise detection and analysis of CD40 expression in a variety of experimental settings.

Background: | CD40 is part of the TNF-receptor superfamily. CD40 is a necessary mediator for vast range of immune and inflammatory responses together with T cell-dependent immunoglobulin class switching, memory B cell growth, and germinal center formation. The transcription factor AKNA regulates the expression of CD40 and its ligand, which is vital for homotypic cell interactions. Adaptor protein TNFR2 interacts with CD40 and serves as a mediator of the signal transduction. The interaction of CD40 and its ligand is crucial for amyloid-beta-induced microglial activation, and thus is thought to be an early event in Alzheimer disease pathogenesis. CD40 is the receptor for TNFSF5/CD40L. |
