Description
CD4 biotin Monoclonal Antibody [hCD4] (CPAB0306)
The CD4 Biotin Antibody (CPAB0306) is a powerful tool for researchers studying CD4, a cell surface glycoprotein that plays a crucial role in the immune system, particularly in the activation and regulation of T-cells. This high-quality polyclonal antibody, produced using biotin as a conjugate, is specifically designed for use in various applications such as immunohistochemistry and flow cytometry. With its high reactivity against human CD4 samples, this antibody allows for precise detection and analysis of CD4 expression in a wide range of cell types.
Its versatility and reliability make it an ideal choice for studies in immunology, infectious diseases, and autoimmune disorders.Understanding the function and expression of CD4 is essential for unraveling the complexities of the immune response and developing potential therapies for diseases such as HIV/AIDS, autoimmune disorders, and allergies. The CD4 Biotin Antibody (CPAB0306) provides researchers with a valuable tool to advance their studies and contribute to the field of immunology.

Background: | CD4 is a cell-surface glycoprotein found on the mature helper T cells and immature thymocytes, as well as on monocytes and macrophages. (Some cytotoxic T cells have CD4 protein as well.) Normally, about 65% of T cells in the blood are CD4+ (have CD4 protein protruding from their membrane). A mature T cell with either have CD4 or CD8, but not both. During one stage of development T cells develop CD4 and CD8 receptors, but they eventually are differentiated in the thymus and become more specialized. |
