The CD27 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB15654) is an essential tool for researchers studying CD27, a cell surface receptor involved in immune responses. This antibody, produced in rabbits, has high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for Western blot applications. By binding to the CD27 protein, this antibody allows for the detection and analysis of CD27 in various cell types, making it a valuable asset for studies in immunology and cancer research.CD27, also known as a T-cell activation antigen, plays a key role in regulating immune responses and promoting T-cell activation and differentiation.
Its involvement in immune signaling pathways makes it a promising target for research into diseases such as cancer and autoimmune disorders. Understanding the function of CD27 is crucial for developing novel therapeutic strategies that can modulate immune responses in these pathological conditions. Overall, the CD27 Polyclonal Antibody is a reliable and versatile tool for researchers seeking to explore the role of CD27 in immune regulation and disease pathogenesis.

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the TNF-receptor superfamily. This receptor is required for generation and long-term maintenance of T cell immunity. It binds to ligand CD70, and plays a key role in regulating B-cell activation and immunoglobulin synthesis. This receptor transduces signals that lead to the activation of NF-kappaB and MAPK8/JNK. Adaptor proteins TRAF2 and TRAF5 have been shown to mediate the signaling process of this receptor. CD27-binding protein (SIVA), a proapoptotic protein, can bind to this receptor and is thought to play an important role in the apoptosis induced by this receptor.
