Description
CD226/DNAM-1 Monoclonal Antibody (CAB23200)
The CD226 (DNAM-1) Monoclonal Antibody is a cutting-edge tool for researchers studying CD226, a cell surface molecule known for its role in immune regulation and activation. This monoclonal antibody, produced through hybridoma technology, provides high specificity and sensitivity in detecting CD226 protein in various cell types and tissues.CD226, also known as DNAX accessory molecule-1, is a co-stimulatory molecule expressed on T cells, NK cells, and other immune cell types. Its interaction with its ligands, such as CD155 (PVR) and CD112 (nectin-2), plays a crucial role in enhancing immune responses and promoting cell-mediated cytotoxicity.
The CD226 Monoclonal Antibody allows for the precise detection and analysis of CD226 expression levels, making it a valuable tool for studying immune cell activation and function.Researchers in immunology, cancer biology, and infectious diseases can benefit from using the CD226 Monoclonal Antibody in a variety of applications, including Western blotting, flow cytometry, and immunohistochemistry. By understanding the molecular mechanisms involving CD226, scientists can gain insights into immune system regulation and develop novel therapeutic strategies targeting immune checkpoints for various diseases.

This gene encodes a glycoprotein expressed on the surface of NK cells, platelets, monocytes and a subset of T cells. It is a member of the Ig-superfamily containing 2 Ig-like domains of the V-set. The protein mediates cellular adhesion of platelets and megakaryocytic cells to vascular endothelial cells. The protein also plays a role in megakaryocytic cell maturation. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
