The CD226 Antigen Polyclonal Antibody (CAB10282) is a valuable tool for researchers studying CD226, a cell surface protein involved in immune regulation and the activation of T cells. This antibody, developed using rabbits as the hosts, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding specifically to the CD226 antigen, this antibody enables the detection and analysis of CD226 in various cell types.CD226 is known to play a crucial role in enhancing T cell activation and promoting immune responses.
Its involvement in regulating immune function makes it a key target for studies in immunology, cancer research, and autoimmune diseases. Understanding the function of CD226 is essential for developing new therapies that modulate immune responses and potentially treat diseases such as cancer and autoimmune disorders. With its high specificity and reactivity, the CD226 Antigen Polyclonal Antibody (CAB10282) is an ideal tool for researchers investigating the role of CD226 in immune regulation and its implications in various disease contexts.

Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 19-254 of human CD226 (NP_006557.2).
This gene encodes a glycoprotein expressed on the surface of NK cells, platelets, monocytes and a subset of T cells. It is a member of the Ig-superfamily containing 2 Ig-like domains of the V-set. The protein mediates cellular adhesion of platelets and megakaryocytic cells to vascular endothelial cells. The protein also plays a role in megakaryocytic cell maturation. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
