Description
CD1a Monoclonal Antibody [hCD1a] (CPAB0309)
The CD1a Antibody (CPAB0309) is a high-quality research reagent designed for studying the CD1a protein, a cell surface molecule involved in immune response modulation. This polyclonal antibody is raised in rabbits and has been validated for use in applications such as Western blotting. It specifically binds to the CD1a protein, allowing for precise detection and analysis in various cell types.CD1a is a crucial player in immune regulation, particularly in the activation and modulation of T cells.
Research into the function of CD1a is important for understanding its role in diseases such as cancer and autoimmune disorders. By targeting CD1a, researchers can develop therapies that manipulate immune responses for therapeutic purposes.Overall, the CD1a Antibody (CPAB0309) is an essential tool for studies in immunology and cancer research, providing valuable insights into the role of CD1a in immune function and disease pathogenesis.

Background: | CD1a is a transmembrane glycoproteins, which is structurally related to the major histocompatibility complex (MHC) proteins and form heterodimers with beta-2-microglobulin. CD1a mediates the presentation of primarily lipid and glycolipid antigens of self or microbial origin to T cells. The human genome contains five CD1 family genes organized in a cluster on chromosome 1. The CD1 family members are thought to differ in their cellular localization and specificity for particular lipid ligands. The protein encoded by this gene localizes to the plasma membrane and to recycling vesicles of the early endocytic system. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been observed, but their biological validity has not been determined. |
