Description
CD11b/ITGAM Monoclonal Antibody (CAB23508)
The CD11b (ITGAM) Monoclonal Antibody is a valuable tool for researchers studying CD11b, a cell surface molecule involved in immune responses and inflammation. This antibody, produced using hybridoma technology, specifically targets the CD11b protein and is highly reactive with human samples. It has been validated for use in various applications, including Western blotting and immunofluorescence.CD11b, also known as integrin alpha-M, is an important component of the immune system, playing a key role in the adhesion and migration of immune cells.
Dysregulation of CD11b expression has been associated with various diseases, making it a promising target for therapeutic interventions. By using the CD11b Monoclonal Antibody, researchers can better understand the function of CD11b in immune responses and potentially identify new treatment strategies for conditions such as autoimmune diseases and inflammatory disorders.

This gene encodes the integrin alpha M chain. Integrins are heterodimeric integral membrane proteins composed of an alpha chain and a beta chain. This I-domain containing alpha integrin combines with the beta 2 chain (ITGB2) to form a leukocyte-specific integrin referred to as macrophage receptor 1 ('Mac-1'), or inactivated-C3b (iC3b) receptor 3 ('CR3'). The alpha M beta 2 integrin is important in the adherence of neutrophils and monocytes to stimulated endothelium, and also in the phagocytosis of complement coated particles. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
