The CD11a Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (CAB19009) is specially designed for research involving CD11a, a cell surface molecule important in immune cell adhesion and signaling. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in a variety of applications, including Western blotting.CD11a, also known as integrin alpha L, plays a key role in immune cell interactions and migration, making it a crucial target for studies in immunology and inflammatory diseases. By binding to CD11a, this antibody allows for the detection and analysis of this protein in various cell types, providing valuable insights into immune cell function and dysfunction.
The significance of CD11a in immune responses and inflammatory processes underscores its importance in research on conditions such as autoimmune disorders, infectious diseases, and inflammatory conditions. By studying the role of CD11a in these contexts, researchers can uncover potential therapeutic targets and strategies for modulating immune responses effectively.
Product Name:
CD11a/LFA-1A/ITGAL Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody
SKU:
CAB19009
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit

Human
Immunogen:
A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence within amino acids 1071-1170 of human CD11a/LFA-1A/ITGAL (P20701).
ITGAL encodes the integrin alpha L chain. Integrins are heterodimeric integral membrane proteins composed of an alpha chain and a beta chain. This I-domain containing alpha integrin combines with the beta 2 chain (ITGB2) to form the integrin lymphocyte function-associated antigen-1 (LFA-1), which is expressed on all leukocytes. LFA-1 plays a central role in leukocyte intercellular adhesion through interactions with its ligands, ICAMs 1-3 (intercellular adhesion molecules 1 through 3), and also functions in lymphocyte costimulatory signaling. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
