The CCR8 Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (CAB4288) is specifically designed for research involving CCR8, a chemokine receptor known for its role in regulating immune responses and inflammation. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific and reactive with human samples, making it an ideal tool for studying CCR8 expression in various cell types.CCR8 is a key player in recruiting immune cells to sites of inflammation and has been implicated in conditions such as asthma, allergic reactions, and autoimmune diseases. By targeting CCR8 with this monoclonal antibody, researchers can better understand its function and potentially develop new therapies for conditions where CCR8 dysregulation plays a role.
This antibody is validated for use in Western blot applications, allowing for the detection and analysis of CCR8 protein expression. Its high specificity and sensitivity make it a valuable tool for immunology and inflammation research, providing insights into the mechanisms of immune response regulation. Discover the potential of CCR8 with the CCR8 Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (CAB4288).

This gene encodes a member of the beta chemokine receptor family, which is predicted to be a seven transmembrane protein similar to G protein-coupled receptors. Chemokines and their receptors are important for the migration of various cell types into the inflammatory sites. This receptor protein preferentially expresses in the thymus. I-309, thymus activation-regulated cytokine (TARC) and macrophage inflammatory protein-1 beta (MIP-1 beta) have been identified as ligands of this receptor. Studies of this receptor and its ligands suggested its role in regulation of monocyte chemotaxis and thymic cell apoptosis. More specifically, this receptor may contribute to the proper positioning of activated T cells within the antigenic challenge sites and specialized areas of lymphoid tissues. This gene is located at the chemokine receptor gene cluster region.
