Description
CCR6 Monoclonal Antibody [P4C6AT] (CPAB0009)
The CCR6 Polyclonal Antibody (CPAB0009) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the CCR6 protein, a chemokine receptor involved in the migration and activation of immune cells. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high specificity for human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications.CCR6 is known to be expressed on various immune cell types, including T cells and dendritic cells, and plays a critical role in regulating immune responses. Its involvement in inflammatory processes and the recruitment of immune cells to sites of infection or inflammation make it an important target for research in immunology and autoimmune diseases.
By using the CCR6 Polyclonal Antibody, researchers can effectively detect and analyze the expression of CCR6 in different cell types and tissues, providing insights into its function and potential as a therapeutic target. This antibody is a valuable tool for studies aiming to elucidate the role of CCR6 in various immune-related diseases, including inflammatory conditions, autoimmune disorders, and cancer.

Background: | CCR6 belongs to the beta chemokine receptor family, which is predicted to be a 7 transmembrane protein similar to G protein-coupled receptors. CCR6 is preferentially expressed by immature dendritic cells and memory T cells. The ligand of CCR6 receptor is macrophage inflammatory protein 3 alpha (MIP-3 alpha). CCR6 receptor has been shown to be vital for B-lineage maturation and antigen-driven B-cell differentiation, and it may regulate the migration and recruitment of dentritic and T cells during inflammatory and immunological responses. |
