The CCNB2 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB16463) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the cell cycle regulator CCNB2. This antibody, produced in rabbits, shows strong reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding specifically to the CCNB2 protein, this antibody enables precise detection and analysis in a variety of cell types, making it an ideal choice for studies in cell biology and cancer research.CCNB2, also known as Cyclin B2, is a key player in cell cycle progression and is implicated in cell division and proliferation.
Dysregulation of CCNB2 has been linked to various cancers and other diseases, making it a promising target for therapeutic interventions. Investigating the role of CCNB2 using this antibody may provide insights into the mechanisms underlying cell cycle control and offer potential strategies for targeting CCNB2 in cancer treatment and other related research areas.

Cyclin B2 is a member of the cyclin family, specifically the B-type cyclins. The B-type cyclins, B1 and B2, associate with p34cdc2 and are essential components of the cell cycle regulatory machinery. B1 and B2 differ in their subcellular localization. Cyclin B1 co-localizes with microtubules, whereas cyclin B2 is primarily associated with the Golgi region. Cyclin B2 also binds to transforming growth factor beta RII and thus cyclin B2/cdc2 may play a key role in transforming growth factor beta-mediated cell cycle control.
