The Cadherin-11 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB8110) is a valuable tool for researchers studying Cadherin-11, a cell adhesion molecule that plays a critical role in various physiological processes, including cell-cell adhesion and migration. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high specificity and sensitivity for human samples, making it ideal for use in Western blot applications.Cadherin-11 is known for its involvement in tissue development and maintenance, particularly in the musculoskeletal system. It has also been implicated in pathological conditions such as cancer metastasis and inflammation.
The Cadherin-11 Polyclonal Antibody binds specifically to Cadherin-11 protein, allowing for its detection and analysis in a variety of cell types.By studying Cadherin-11 expression and function, researchers can gain insights into its role in disease progression and potentially identify new therapeutic targets for conditions such as cancer and inflammatory disorders. The Cadherin-11 Polyclonal Antibody is a valuable tool for investigating the biology of Cadherin-11 and its implications in various physiological and pathological processes.

This gene encodes a type II classical cadherin from the cadherin superfamily, integral membrane proteins that mediate calcium-dependent cell-cell adhesion. Mature cadherin proteins are composed of a large N-terminal extracellular domain, a single membrane-spanning domain, and a small, highly conserved C-terminal cytoplasmic domain. Type II (atypical) cadherins are defined based on their lack of a HAV cell adhesion recognition sequence specific to type I cadherins. Expression of this particular cadherin in osteoblastic cell lines, and its upregulation during differentiation, suggests a specific function in bone development and maintenance.
