The BT3A1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB10288) is a vital tool for researchers studying the BT3A1 protein, which plays a crucial role in immune regulation. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific to human samples and is validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the BT3A1 protein, this antibody allows for the detection and analysis of BT3A1 in various cell types, making it an essential component for studies in immunology and cancer research.BT3A1, also known as an immune regulatory molecule, is involved in modulating immune responses and has been implicated in diseases such as cancer, autoimmune disorders, and chronic inflammatory conditions.
Understanding the function of BT3A1 is key to developing innovative therapies that target or regulate the immune system in these disease contexts. The BT3A1 Polyclonal Antibody provides researchers with a reliable tool to further investigate the role of BT3A1 in immune regulation and disease progression.

The butyrophilin (BTN) genes are a group of major histocompatibility complex (MHC)-associated genes that encode type I membrane proteins with 2 extracellular immunoglobulin (Ig) domains and an intracellular B30.2 (PRYSPRY) domain. Three subfamilies of human BTN genes are located in the MHC class I region: the single-copy BTN1A1 gene (MIM 601610) and the BTN2 (e.g., BTN2A1; MIM 613590) and BTN3 (e.g., BNT3A1) genes, which have undergone tandem duplication, resulting in 3 copies of each (summary by Smith et al., 2010 [PubMed 20208008]).
