Description
B-Raf Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (CAB15033)
The BRAF Polyclonal Antibody (CAB15033) is a valuable tool for researchers studying BRAF, a protein that plays a key role in cell signaling and proliferation pathways. This antibody, produced in rabbits, demonstrates high reactivity with human samples and is validated for use in Western blot applications. It specifically targets the BRAF protein, allowing for its detection and analysis in various cell types.BRAF is a protein kinase that is frequently mutated in various cancers, making it a crucial target for cancer research. Mutations in the BRAF gene can lead to uncontrolled cell growth and division, contributing to the development and progression of cancer.
Understanding the activity of BRAF and its signaling pathways is essential for developing targeted therapies for cancer treatment. The BRAF Polyclonal Antibody is an important tool for researchers investigating the role of BRAF in cancer development and progression. By enabling the detection and analysis of BRAF protein expression in cells, this antibody facilitates research aimed at identifying novel therapeutic targets and developing personalized treatment strategies for cancer patients.

This gene encodes a protein belonging to the RAF family of serine/threonine protein kinases. This protein plays a role in regulating the MAP kinase/ERK signaling pathway, which affects cell division, differentiation, and secretion. Mutations in this gene, most commonly the V600E mutation, are the most frequently identified cancer-causing mutations in melanoma, and have been identified in various other cancers as well, including non-Hodgkin lymphoma, colorectal cancer, thyroid carcinoma, non-small cell lung carcinoma, hairy cell leukemia and adenocarcinoma of lung. Mutations in this gene are also associated with cardiofaciocutaneous, Noonan, and Costello syndromes, which exhibit overlapping phenotypes. A pseudogene of this gene has been identified on the X chromosome.
