The BMX Polyclonal Antibody (CAB6358) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the BMX protein, a crucial regulator of various signaling pathways involved in cell proliferation, survival, and migration. This antibody, generated in rabbits, exhibits high specificity and sensitivity towards human BMX protein, allowing for reliable detection and analysis in Western blot applications.BMX, also known as bone marrow tyrosine kinase gene in chromosome X, is a member of the Tec family of non-receptor tyrosine kinases and plays a key role in immune cell development and function.
Dysregulation of BMX has been linked to various diseases, including cancer and autoimmune disorders, making it a promising target for therapeutic interventions.By targeting the BMX protein, researchers can gain insights into its signaling mechanisms and potential as a therapeutic target in cancer and immune-related diseases. The BMX Polyclonal Antibody is a valuable tool for studying BMX biology and identifying new treatment strategies for these conditions.
Product Name:
BMX Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
SKU:
CAB6358
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit
Reactivity:
Human,Mouse
Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1-120 of human BMX (NP_001712.1).
This gene encodes a non-receptor tyrosine kinase belonging to the Tec kinase family. The protein contains a PH-like domain, which mediates membrane targeting by binding to phosphatidylinositol 3,4,5-triphosphate (PIP3), and a SH2 domain that binds to tyrosine-phosphorylated proteins and functions in signal transduction. The protein is implicated in several signal transduction pathways including the Stat pathway, and regulates differentiation and tumorigenicity of several types of cancer cells. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found for this gene.
