Description
BMP7 Monoclonal Antibody [P4E7AT] (CPAB0059)
The BMP7 Polyclonal Antibody (CPAB0059) is a powerful tool for researchers studying Bone Morphogenetic Protein 7 (BMP7), a member of the transforming growth factor-beta superfamily that plays a crucial role in regulating bone and cartilage development. This antibody, generated in rabbits, exhibits high specificity and sensitivity towards BMP7 in human samples, making it an essential reagent for Western blot analysis.BMP7 is a key signaling molecule involved in cell differentiation, proliferation, and apoptosis, making it a promising target for therapeutic interventions in orthopedic and regenerative medicine. The BMP7 Polyclonal Antibody enables precise detection and quantification of BMP7 levels in various cell types, providing valuable insights into its biological function and potential applications in tissue engineering and bone regeneration studies.
With its ability to specifically recognize and bind to BMP7, this antibody is a valuable tool for elucidating the mechanisms underlying bone and cartilage development, as well as for exploring the therapeutic potential of BMP7 in treating musculoskeletal disorders and injuries. Researchers in the fields of developmental biology, regenerative medicine, and orthopedics will find the BMP7 Polyclonal Antibody indispensable for their studies.

Background: | The bone morphogenetic proteins (BMPs) are a family of secreted signaling molecules that can induce ectopic bone growth. Many BMPs are part of the transforming growth factor-beta (TGFB) superfamily. BMPs were originally identified by an ability of demineralized bone extract to induce endochondral osteogenesis in vivo in an extraskeletal site. Based on its expression early in embryogenesis, the BMP encoded by this gene has a proposed role in early development. In addition, the fact that this BMP is closely related to BMP5 and BMP7 has lead to speculation of possible bone inductive activity. |
