The Biotinylated Anti-CTLA4 Antibody (HDLA015) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the CTLA4 protein, a key regulator of T-cell activation and immune response. This antibody, produced in-house at Assay Genie, is highly specific and sensitive for detecting CTLA4 in various samples, making it ideal for use in techniques such as immunofluorescence and flow cytometry.CTLA4, also known as cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated protein 4, is a critical checkpoint inhibitor that modulates the immune response by downregulating T-cell activation.
Research into CTLA4 has shown its potential as a target for cancer immunotherapy, with therapies like checkpoint inhibitors aimed at enhancing anti-tumor immune responses by blocking CTLA4 activity. The Biotinylated Anti-CTLA4 Antibody is a reliable tool for investigating the role of CTLA4 in immune regulation and cancer immunotherapy. Its high specificity and sensitivity make it a valuable asset for researchers seeking to explore the mechanisms of immune checkpoint pathways and develop novel therapeutic interventions.

Background:
Leukocyte surface antigen CD47 is also known as Antigenic surface determinant protein OA3, Integrin-associated protein (IAP) and Protein MER6. CD47 contains 1 Ig-like V-type (immunoglobulin-like) domain. CD47 is very broadly distributed on normal adult tissues. CD47 has a role in both cell adhesion by acting as an adhesion receptor for THBS1 on platelets, and in the modulation of integrins and plays an important role in memory formation and synaptic plasticity in the hippocampus by similarity. CD47 is the receptor for SIRPA, binding to which prevents maturation of immature dendritic cells and inhibits cytokine production by mature dendritic cells. CD47 Interaction with SIRPG mediates cell-cell adhesion, enhances superantigen-dependent T-cell-mediated proliferation and costimulates T-cell activation.
