The Biotin Anti-Mouse CD90 Antibody (M5/49.4.1) from Assay Genie is a potent tool for researchers studying CD90, a surface marker commonly used to identify and isolate mouse stem cells. This antibody, raised against mouse samples, exhibits high specificity and sensitivity in various experimental applications, such as flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, and immunoprecipitation.CD90, also known as Thy-1, is a glycoprotein involved in cell adhesion and signal transduction, playing crucial roles in cell migration, proliferation, and differentiation. Its expression pattern makes it an excellent marker for characterizing stem cell populations in tissue regeneration and cancer research.
The Biotin Anti-Mouse CD90 Antibody enables precise detection and quantification of CD90-expressing cells, facilitating detailed analysis and characterization of stem cell subpopulations in diverse biological contexts.Whether investigating the role of stem cells in development, disease progression, or therapeutic interventions, researchers can rely on the accuracy and reliability of the Biotin Anti-Mouse CD90 Antibody from Assay Genie to advance their understanding of stem cell biology and its implications for regenerative medicine and oncology.

Background:
The M5/49.4.1 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse Thy1 also known as CD90. Thy1 is a 25-35 kDa GPI-anchored protein belonging to the Ig superfamily that is expressed by thymocytes, peripheral T cells, myoblasts, epidermal cells, and keratinocytes. The function of Thy1 has not been fully elucidated but is thought to play roles in regulation of cell adhesion, apoptosis, metastasis, inflammation, and fibrosis. This antibody is particularly useful for depletion of T lymphocytes.
