The BHLHE23 Polyclonal Antibody (PAC064163) is a valuable tool for research involving the BHLHE23 protein, which is known to play a role in various cellular processes, including regulation of gene expression and cellular differentiation. This antibody, generated in rabbits, is highly specific for human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the BHLHE23 protein, this antibody allows for accurate detection and analysis in a wide range of cell types, making it an ideal choice for studies in developmental biology, cancer research, and other fields.BHLHE23, also referred to as basic helix-loop-helix family member e23, is a transcription factor that has been implicated in the regulation of key genes involved in cell growth, differentiation, and survival.
Its involvement in these processes makes it a promising target for further investigation in the context of developmental disorders, cancer progression, and other diseases. Investigating the function and activity of BHLHE23 with the help of this antibody can provide valuable insights into its role in various physiological and pathological conditions, ultimately contributing to the development of potential therapeutic strategies.

Recombinant Human Class E basic helix-loop-helix protein 23 protein (1-225AA)
IHC image of PACO64163 diluted at 1:100 and staining in paraffin-embedded human testis tissue performed on a Leica BondTM system. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4°C overnight. The primary is detected by a Goat anti-rabbit polymer IgG labeled by HRP and visualized using 0.05% DAB.

NCBI Summary:
This gene encodes a member of the basic helix-loop-helix transcription factor family. Members of this family contain two highly conserved and functionally distinct domains: the basic domain targets sequence-specific DNA binding, while the helix-loop-helix domain facilitates protein interaction. Studies of a related gene in mouse suggest that the encoded protein may function as a transcriptional repressor in the pancreas and brain, and that it is required for normal retinal function.
