The BDKRB2 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB2844) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the BDKRB2 protein, a member of the bradykinin receptor family known for its role in mediating various physiological responses, including vasodilation, pain sensation, and inflammation. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific to human BDKRB2 samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By specifically binding to the BDKRB2 protein, this antibody allows for accurate detection and analysis in a variety of cell types, making it ideal for studies in pharmacology, cardiovascular research, and inflammation-related disorders.
BDKRB2 is a key player in the bradykinin signaling pathway, which is involved in regulating blood pressure, vascular permeability, and pain perception. Dysregulation of BDKRB2 has been implicated in various diseases, such as hypertension, sepsis, and inflammatory conditions. Understanding the function and regulation of BDKRB2 is crucial for developing targeted therapies that modulate its activity in these pathological conditions. This antibody provides a valuable tool for researchers looking to elucidate the role of BDKRB2 in health and disease.

Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 302-391 of human BDKRB2 (NP_000614.1).
This gene encodes a receptor for bradykinin. The 9 aa bradykinin peptide elicits many responses including vasodilation, edema, smooth muscle spasm and pain fiber stimulation. Bradykinin is released upon activation by pathophysiologic conditions such as trauma and inflammation, and binds to its kinin receptors, B1 and B2. The B2 receptor associates with G proteins that stimulate a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system.
