The BAF57/SMARCE1 Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (CAB3814) is a powerful tool for researchers studying the BAF57/SMARCE1 protein, which plays a key role in chromatin remodeling and gene regulation. This antibody, generated in rabbits, is highly specific and sensitive for detecting BAF57/SMARCE1 in human samples, making it ideal for use in Western blot applications.BAF57/SMARCE1 is a subunit of the SWI/SNF chromatin remodeling complex, which is involved in the regulation of gene expression by altering chromatin structure. Dysregulation of this complex has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer and developmental disorders.
The ability to specifically target and detect BAF57/SMARCE1 protein expression is essential for understanding its function and potential role in disease pathogenesis.By using the BAF57/SMARCE1 Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (CAB3814), researchers can gain valuable insights into the mechanisms underlying chromatin remodeling and gene regulation in normal and disease states. This antibody is a valuable tool for studies in molecular biology, cancer research, and epigenetics, offering high specificity and sensitivity for detecting BAF57/SMARCE1 protein levels in a variety of cell types and tissues.

The protein encoded by this gene is part of the large ATP-dependent chromatin remodeling complex SWI/SNF, which is required for transcriptional activation of genes normally repressed by chromatin. The encoded protein, either alone or when in the SWI/SNF complex, can bind to 4-way junction DNA, which is thought to mimic the topology of DNA as it enters or exits the nucleosome. The protein contains a DNA-binding HMG domain, but disruption of this domain does not abolish the DNA-binding or nucleosome-displacement activities of the SWI/SNF complex. Unlike most of the SWI/SNF complex proteins, this protein has no yeast counterpart.
