The ATR Polyclonal Antibody (CAB13951) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the Ataxia Telangiectasia and Rad3-related protein (ATR), an essential regulator of the DNA damage response pathway. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high specificity and sensitivity for human samples, making it ideal for use in Western blot applications.ATR is a key player in maintaining genomic stability and preventing the accumulation of DNA damage. Dysregulation of ATR has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders.
By targeting ATR with this antibody, researchers can investigate its expression levels and activity in different cell types, providing insights into its role in DNA repair and cell cycle control. The ATR Polyclonal Antibody is a valuable tool for studying the functions of ATR in both normal and disease states, allowing for the development of targeted therapies that exploit the DNA damage response pathway for the treatment of cancer and other conditions characterized by genomic instability.
Product Name:
ATR Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

CAB13951
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit

Human,Mouse,Rat
Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 400-500 of human ATR (NP_001175.2).
The protein encoded by this gene is a serine/threonine kinase and DNA damage sensor, activating cell cycle checkpoint signaling upon DNA stress. The encoded protein can phosphorylate and activate several proteins involved in the inhibition of DNA replication and mitosis, and can promote DNA repair, recombination, and apoptosis. This protein is also important for fragile site stability and centrosome duplication. Defects in this gene are a cause of Seckel syndrome 1.
