The ATP10A Polyclonal Antibody (CAB15873) is a valuable tool for researchers studying ATP10A, a P-type ATPase that plays a crucial role in lipid transport and metabolism. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high specificity and sensitivity towards ATP10A in human samples, making it ideal for Western blot applications.ATP10A is a transmembrane protein involved in the transport of phospholipids, particularly phosphatidylserine, within cells. Dysregulation of ATP10A has been linked to various diseases, including neurological disorders and cancer.
By targeting ATP10A with this polyclonal antibody, researchers can investigate its function and implications in different cellular processes. This antibody offers a reliable means of detecting and quantifying ATP10A in various cell types, facilitating studies in lipid biology, membrane trafficking, and disease mechanisms. Understanding the role of ATP10A may lead to insights into potential therapeutic strategies for conditions associated with lipid metabolism imbalances.
Product Name:
ATP10A Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

CAB15873
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit

Human
Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 440-690 of human ATP10A (NP_077816.1).
The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the family of P-type cation transport ATPases, and to the subfamily of aminophospholipid-transporting ATPases. The aminophospholipid translocases transport phosphatidylserine and phosphatidylethanolamine from one side of a bilayer to another. This gene is maternally expressed. It maps within the most common interval of deletion responsible for Angelman syndrome, also known as 'happy puppet syndrome'.
