The ATM Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (CAB19650) is a high-quality research tool designed for the detection of ATM (Ataxia Telangiectasia Mutated) protein in various cell types. ATM is a key regulator of the DNA damage response pathway, playing a critical role in maintaining genomic stability and preventing the development of cancer.Raised in rabbits, this monoclonal antibody is highly specific and sensitive for the detection of ATM protein in human samples. It has been validated for use in Western blot applications, providing researchers with a reliable tool for studying the function and expression of ATM in different experimental settings.
The ATM Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (CAB19650) is an essential reagent for studies focused on DNA damage response, cancer biology, and genomic instability. By targeting ATM protein, researchers can gain valuable insights into the mechanisms underlying DNA repair and cell cycle control, ultimately advancing our understanding of cancer development and potential therapeutic strategies.

The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the PI3/PI4-kinase family. This protein is an important cell cycle checkpoint kinase that phosphorylates; thus, it functions as a regulator of a wide variety of downstream proteins, including tumor suppressor proteins p53 and BRCA1, checkpoint kinase CHK2, checkpoint proteins RAD17 and RAD9, and DNA repair protein NBS1. This protein and the closely related kinase ATR are thought to be master controllers of cell cycle checkpoint signaling pathways that are required for cell response to DNA damage and for genome stability. Mutations in this gene are associated with ataxia telangiectasia, an autosomal recessive disorder.
