The ASS1 Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (CAB9084) is a powerful tool for researchers studying ASS1, a critical enzyme involved in the urea cycle and amino acid metabolism. This antibody, produced using rabbit monoclonal technology, is specifically designed for use in various research applications including immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometry.ASS1, also known as argininosuccinate synthase 1, plays a key role in the conversion of citrulline and aspartate to argininosuccinate in the urea cycle, ultimately leading to the production of urea. Dysregulation of ASS1 has been linked to a variety of diseases, including cancer and metabolic disorders, making it a valuable target for research aimed at developing new therapeutic interventions.
The high specificity and sensitivity of the ASS1 Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (CAB9084) make it an essential tool for investigating the expression and localization of ASS1 in different cell types and tissues. With its superior performance in various assay formats, this antibody can provide valuable insights into the function and regulation of ASS1 in health and disease.
Product Name:
ASS1 Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody
SKU:
CAB9084
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit
Reactivity:
Human,Mouse,Rat
Immunogen:
A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence within amino acids 1-100 of human ASS1 (P00966).
The protein encoded by this gene catalyzes the penultimate step of the arginine biosynthetic pathway. There are approximately 10 to 14 copies of this gene including the pseudogenes scattered across the human genome, among which the one located on chromosome 9 appears to be the only functional gene for argininosuccinate synthetase. Mutations in the chromosome 9 copy of this gene cause citrullinemia. Two transcript variants encoding the same protein have been found for this gene.
Purification Method:
Affinity purification
