The ASB4 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB17159) is specifically designed for research involving ASB4, a key protein involved in cellular processes such as ubiquitination and protein degradation. This antibody, raised in rabbits, boasts high reactivity with human samples and has been rigorously validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the ASB4 protein, this antibody allows for precise detection and analysis in a variety of cell types, making it an essential tool for researchers in the fields of cell biology and molecular biology.ASB4, a member of the ankyrin repeat and SOCS box-containing (ASB) protein family, plays a crucial role in regulating the turnover of substrate proteins through ubiquitination and subsequent degradation by the proteasome.
Dysfunction of ASB4 has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, highlighting its significance as a potential therapeutic target. By studying the function of ASB4, researchers can gain insights into the underlying molecular mechanisms of these diseases and potentially identify novel treatment strategies.
Product Name:
ASB4 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

CAB17159
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit

Human,Mouse
Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1-300 of human ASB4 (NP_665879.1).
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the ankyrin repeat and SOCS box-containing (ASB) family of proteins. They contain ankyrin repeat sequence and SOCS box domain. The SOCS box serves to couple suppressor of cytokine signalling (SOCS) proteins and their binding partners with the elongin B and C complex, possibly targeting them for degradation. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described for this gene but some of the full length sequences are not known.
