The ARNT2 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB8060) is a highly specific research tool designed for studying the Aryl hydrocarbon receptor nuclear translocator 2 (ARNT2) protein. Made in rabbits, this antibody exhibits strong reactivity with human samples and is validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the ARNT2 protein, researchers can easily detect and analyze this important transcription factor in various cell types.ARNT2 is a critical component of the cellular machinery involved in regulating gene expression in response to environmental signals. It plays a key role in various biological processes, including embryonic development, circadian rhythm regulation, and cellular stress responses.
Dysregulation of ARNT2 has been implicated in several diseases, making it a promising target for studies in neuroscience, cardiovascular research, and cancer biology.By utilizing the ARNT2 Polyclonal Antibody, researchers can gain valuable insights into the functions and regulatory mechanisms of ARNT2, paving the way for the development of potential therapeutic interventions targeting this important transcription factor.

This gene encodes a member of the basic-helix-loop-helix-Per-Arnt-Sim (bHLH-PAS) superfamily of transcription factors. The encoded protein acts as a partner for several sensor proteins of the bHLH-PAS family, forming heterodimers with the sensor proteins that bind regulatory DNA sequences in genes responsive to developmental and environmental stimuli. Under hypoxic conditions, the encoded protein complexes with hypoxia-inducible factor 1alpha in the nucleus and this complex binds to hypoxia-responsive elements in enhancers and promoters of oxygen-responsive genes. A highly similar protein in mouse forms functional complexes with both aryl hydrocarbon receptors and Single-minded proteins, suggesting additional roles for the encoded protein in the metabolism of xenobiotic compounds and the regulation of neurogenesis, respectively.
