The ARHGDIB Polyclonal Antibody (CAB3740) is a valuable research tool for studying ARHGDIB, a protein involved in cell signaling and regulation. This antibody, produced through rabbit immunization, is highly specific to human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the ARHGDIB protein, this antibody enables researchers to detect and analyze ARHGDIB expression in various cell types.ARHGDIB, also known as RhoGDI beta, plays a key role in regulating the activity of Rho GTPases, which are important for intracellular signaling and cell movement.
Dysregulation of ARHGDIB has been implicated in cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and neurological disorders, making it an attractive target for therapeutic interventions. By studying ARHGDIB expression and function, researchers can gain insights into its involvement in these disease processes and potentially identify new treatment strategies.

Members of the Rho (or ARH) protein family (see MIM 165390) and other Ras-related small GTP-binding proteins (see MIM 179520) are involved in diverse cellular events, including cell signaling, proliferation, cytoskeletal organization, and secretion. The GTP-binding proteins are active only in the GTP-bound state. At least 3 classes of proteins tightly regulate cycling between the GTP-bound and GDP-bound states: GTPase-activating proteins (GAPs), guanine nucleotide-releasing factors (GRFs), and GDP-dissociation inhibitors (GDIs). The GDIs, including ARHGDIB, decrease the rate of GDP dissociation from Ras-like GTPases (summary by Scherle et al., 1993 [PubMed 8356058]).
