The Arginase-1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB1847) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the enzyme Arginase-1, which is involved in the regulation of arginine metabolism and plays a crucial role in various physiological and pathological processes. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific to human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications.Arginase-1 is known to be involved in immune responses, wound healing, and the progression of certain diseases, including cancer and autoimmune disorders. By targeting Arginase-1 with this antibody, researchers can investigate its expression levels, localization, and function in different cell types, providing valuable insights into its potential as a therapeutic target.
With its high reactivity and specificity, the Arginase-1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB1847) is an indispensable tool for studies in immunology, cancer research, and other fields where Arginase-1 is implicated. By enabling the detection and analysis of Arginase-1 protein, this antibody facilitates the exploration of its role in various biological processes, paving the way for the development of novel treatment strategies and diagnostics.

Arginase catalyzes the hydrolysis of arginine to ornithine and urea. At least two isoforms of mammalian arginase exist (types I and II) which differ in their tissue distribution, subcellular localization, immunologic crossreactivity and physiologic function. The type I isoform encoded by this gene, is a cytosolic enzyme and expressed predominantly in the liver as a component of the urea cycle. Inherited deficiency of this enzyme results in argininemia, an autosomal recessive disorder characterized by hyperammonemia. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
