The ARF5 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB3737) is a valuable tool for researchers studying ARF5, a key protein involved in intracellular trafficking and signaling pathways. This antibody, generated in rabbits, is highly specific to ARF5 and has been validated for use in various applications, including Western blot and immunofluorescence.ARF5, a member of the ADP-ribosylation factor (ARF) family, plays a crucial role in regulating membrane dynamics and vesicular transport within cells. Dysregulation of ARF5 has been linked to various diseases, including cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and metabolic conditions.
By targeting ARF5 with this antibody, researchers can gain insight into the function and localization of this protein in different cell types and disease states. With its high sensitivity and specificity, the ARF5 Polyclonal Antibody is a valuable tool for advancing research in cell biology, molecular biology, and drug development. By uncovering the mechanisms underlying ARF5 activity, researchers can potentially identify new therapeutic targets and strategies for treating a wide range of disorders.

This gene is a member of the human ADP-ribosylation factor (ARF) gene family. These genes encode small guanine nucleotide-binding proteins that stimulate the ADP-ribosyltransferase activity of cholera toxin and play a role in vesicular trafficking and as activators of phospholipase D. The gene products include 6 ARF proteins and 11 ARF-like proteins and constitute 1 family of the RAS superfamily. The ARF proteins are categorized as class I (ARF1, ARF2,and ARF3), class II (ARF4 and ARF5) and class III (ARF6). The members of each class share a common gene organization.
