The ARF1 Polyclonal Antibody is a valuable tool for researchers interested in studying the ARF1 protein, a key regulator of membrane traffic and organelle structure in cells. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high specificity and sensitivity when detecting ARF1 in human samples, making it ideal for use in Western blot applications.ARF1 plays a crucial role in intracellular vesicular trafficking, particularly in the Golgi apparatus and endocytic pathways. By targeting ARF1 with this polyclonal antibody, researchers can investigate its role in processes such as membrane budding, vesicle formation, and protein sorting.
This antibody enables the detection and analysis of ARF1 in various cell types, providing valuable insights into its function in cellular physiology and disease pathology. With its ability to recognize and bind to ARF1, this polyclonal antibody is a valuable tool for researchers exploring a wide range of biological processes, including protein trafficking, signal transduction, and organelle biogenesis. Its versatility and reliability make it an essential component of any research project focused on understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying cellular function.

ADP-ribosylation factor 1 (ARF1) is a member of the human ARF gene family. The family members encode small guanine nucleotide-binding proteins that stimulate the ADP-ribosyltransferase activity of cholera toxin and play a role in vesicular trafficking as activators of phospholipase D. The gene products, including 6 ARF proteins and 11 ARF-like proteins, constitute a family of the RAS superfamily. The ARF proteins are categorized as class I (ARF1, ARF2 and ARF3), class II (ARF4 and ARF5) and class III (ARF6), and members of each class share a common gene organization. The ARF1 protein is localized to the Golgi apparatus and has a central role in intra-Golgi transport. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein have been found for this gene.
