Description
APOA4 Monoclonal Antibody (CAB23893)
The ApoA4 Monoclonal Antibody is a valuable tool for researchers studying apolipoprotein A4, a protein involved in lipid metabolism and cardiovascular health. This antibody, produced in mouse, is highly specific for detecting ApoA4 in human samples and is suitable for use in various laboratory techniques, including Western blot and immunohistochemistry.ApoA4 is known to play a role in the transport of lipids, including cholesterol, in the blood. It has been linked to the regulation of lipid levels and may have protective effects against atherosclerosis and cardiovascular disease.
Research into the function and regulation of ApoA4 is important for understanding its potential as a therapeutic target for metabolic disorders and cardiovascular conditions.By using the ApoA4 Monoclonal Antibody, scientists can further explore the mechanisms underlying the role of this protein in lipid metabolism and cardiovascular health. With its high specificity and reliability, this antibody is an essential tool for investigating ApoA4 in both basic research and clinical studies.

Apoliprotein (apo) A-IV gene contains 3 exons separated by two introns. A sequence polymorphism has been identified in the 3'UTR of the third exon. The primary translation product is a 396-residue preprotein which after proteolytic processing is secreted its primary site of synthesis, the intestine, in association with chylomicron particles. Although its precise function is not known, apo A-IV is a potent activator of lecithin-cholesterol acyltransferase in vitro.
