The APE1 Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody is a powerful tool for researchers studying APE1, a critical enzyme involved in DNA repair and redox signaling processes. This high-quality antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits exceptional reactivity with human samples and is validated for use in Western blot and immunohistochemistry applications.APE1, also known as redox factor-1, is essential for maintaining genomic stability and cellular response to oxidative stress. Dysregulation of APE1 activity has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and cardiovascular conditions.
The APE1 Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody binds specifically to the APE1 protein, allowing for precise detection and analysis in diverse cell types, making it an invaluable tool for research in DNA repair mechanisms and disease pathogenesis.By elucidating the functions of APE1, researchers can gain insights into the underlying mechanisms of disease development and potentially identify novel therapeutic targets for precision medicine approaches. The APE1 Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody is a reliable resource for advancing scientific understanding of APE1 biology and its implications for human health.

The APEX gene encodes the major AP endonuclease in human cells. It encodes the APEX endonuclease, a DNA repair enzyme with apurinic/apyrimidinic (AP) activity. Such AP activity sites occur frequently in DNA molecules by spontaneous hydrolysis, by DNA damaging agents or by DNA glycosylases that remove specific abnormal bases. The AP sites are the most frequent pre-mutagenic lesions that can prevent normal DNA replication. Splice variants have been found for this gene; all encode the same protein. Disruptions in the biological functions related to APEX are associated with many various malignancies and neurodegenerative diseases.
