The APC Anti-Mouse/Rat CD29 Antibody (HM beta 1-1) from AssayGenie is a high-quality monoclonal antibody designed for the detection of CD29, a cell surface protein involved in cell adhesion and migration processes. This antibody, specifically engineered for use with mouse and rat samples, is validated for flow cytometry applications and offers strong reactivity and specificity.CD29, also known as integrin beta-1, plays a crucial role in cell-matrix adhesion and signaling, making it a key player in various physiological and pathological processes. By targeting CD29, researchers can gain insights into cellular interactions, migration mechanisms, and the regulation of tissue development.
This antibody facilitates the detection and analysis of CD29 expression in different cell types, making it an excellent tool for studies in immunology, cell biology, and cancer research. The APC Anti-Mouse/Rat CD29 Antibody (HM beta 1-1) is an essential reagent for investigating the intricate roles of CD29 in cellular functions and disease mechanisms. Its reliable performance, specificity, and versatility make it a valuable asset for researchers aiming to unravel the complexities of cell adhesion and migration pathways.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. The amount of the reagent is suggested to be used 5 µL of antibody per test (million cells in 100 µL staining volume or per 100 µL of whole blood). Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use.

Background:
CD29 is a 130 kD protein, also known as integrin β1, VLA-β chain, or GPIIa. It is a member of the integrin family, expressed broadly on leukocytes, endothelial cells, smooth muscle, and epithelial cells. In association with CD49a-f, CD29 forms the VLA-1 through VLA-6 complexes, respectively. It plays an important role in cell-cell or cell-matrix interaction. The HMß1-1 antibody reacts with both mouse and rat CD29. It is able to block cell adhesion and inhibit T cell proliferation.
