The Anti-Mouse Foxp3 Antibody (3G3) offered by AssayGenie is a vital tool for researchers studying immune system modulation and regulatory T cells. This monoclonal antibody specifically targets the Foxp3 protein in mouse samples, enabling accurate detection and analysis in various experimental settings.Foxp3 is a master regulator of regulatory T cells (Tregs), playing a pivotal role in maintaining immune tolerance and preventing autoimmunity. Dysregulation of Foxp3 function is associated with numerous diseases, including autoimmune disorders, allergies, and cancer. By utilizing the Anti-Mouse Foxp3 Antibody (3G3), researchers can delve into the intricate mechanisms governing Treg cell differentiation and function, shedding light on potential therapeutic strategies for immune-related conditions.
This antibody, rigorously validated for use in techniques such as immunofluorescence and flow cytometry, offers high specificity and sensitivity in detecting Foxp3 expression. Its reliable performance and suitability for various experimental approaches make it an indispensable asset for immunologists, oncologists, and researchers investigating the complexities of immune regulation and disease pathogenesis in preclinical models. Unlock the secrets of immune tolerance and Treg cell biology with the Anti-Mouse Foxp3 Antibody (3G3) from AssayGenie.

Background:
FOXP3 is a 50-55 kD transcription factor, also known as Forkhead box protein P3, Scurfin, JM2, or IPEX. It is proposed to be a master regulatory gene and more specific marker of T regulatory cells than most cell surface markers (such as CD4 and CD25). Transduced expression of FOXP3 in CD4+/CD25- cells has been shown to induce GITR, CD103, and CTLA4 and impart a T regulatory cell phenotype. FOXP3 is mutated in X-linked autoimmunity-allergic dysregulation syndrome (XLAAD or IPEX) in humans and in 'scurfy' mice. Overexpression of FOXP3 has been shown to lead to a hypoactive immune state suggesting that this transcriptional factor is a central regulator of T cell activity. In human, unlike in mouse, two isoforms of FOXP3 have been reported: one (FOXP3) corresponding to the canonical full-length sequence; the other (FOXP3 δ2) lacking exon 2.
