The APC Anti-Human CD25 Antibody (BC96) available at www.assaygenie.com/apc-anti-human-cd25-antibody-bc96/ is an essential tool for researchers studying CD25, a key cell surface marker associated with regulatory T cells. This antibody, specific for human samples, is conjugated to allophycocyanin (APC) and is validated for flow cytometry applications.CD25, also known as interleukin-2 receptor alpha chain, is crucial for the activation and function of regulatory T cells, which play a vital role in immune tolerance and suppression of excessive immune responses. The expression levels of CD25 can provide insights into the regulatory T cell populations in various physiological and pathological conditions, making it a valuable marker for immunology and cancer research.
By utilizing the APC Anti-Human CD25 Antibody (BC96), researchers can accurately identify and quantify CD25-expressing cells in flow cytometry experiments. This antibody's high specificity and sensitivity ensure reliable detection and analysis of CD25-positive cell populations, facilitating in-depth investigations into immune regulation, autoimmune diseases, transplantation immunology, and cancer immunotherapy.Advance your research and unravel the complexities of immune regulation with the APC Anti-Human CD25 Antibody (BC96) from Assay Genie.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. The amount of the reagent is suggested to be used 5 µL of antibody per test (million cells in 100 µL staining volume or per 100 µL of whole blood). Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use.

Background:
CD25 is a 55 kD type I transmembrane glycoprotein also known as the low affinity IL-2 receptor α chain or Tac. It is expressed on progenitor lymphocytes, activated T and B cells, and activated monocytes/macrophages. CD25 is also expressed on a subset of non-stimulated CD4+ T cells termed T regulatory cells. CD25 associates with the IL-2 receptor β (CD122) and common γ chains (CD132) to form the high affinity IL-2R complex.
