The VRK3 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB18838) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the VRK3 protein, a kinase involved in various cellular processes including cell cycle regulation and DNA damage response. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific for human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the VRK3 protein, this antibody allows for the detection and analysis of VRK3 expression in different cell types, making it an ideal choice for studies in molecular biology and cancer research.
VRK3 is known to play a crucial role in cell proliferation and survival, making it a potential target for therapeutic interventions in diseases such as cancer. Understanding the function of VRK3 can provide valuable insights into the mechanisms underlying tumorigenesis and may lead to the development of novel treatment strategies. The VRK3 Polyclonal Antibody is a reliable tool for investigating the role of VRK3 in cellular processes and disease pathways, ultimately advancing our knowledge of this important kinase.

VRK3 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit

Human
Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 266-412 of human VRK3 (NP_001295349).
This gene encodes a member of the vaccinia-related kinase (VRK) family of serine/threonine protein kinases. In both human and mouse, this gene has substitutions at several residues within the ATP binding motifs that in other kinases have been shown to be required for catalysis. In vitro assays indicate the protein lacks phosphorylation activity. The protein, however, likely retains its substrate binding capability. This gene is widely expressed in human tissues and its protein localizes to the nucleus. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcripts encoding different isoforms.
