The Anti-USP14 Antibody (CAB19589) offered by AssayGenie is a valuable tool for research involving USP14, a key enzyme involved in protein degradation pathways. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific and reactive with human samples, making it an ideal choice for Western blot applications. By binding to USP14, researchers can easily detect and study its expression and activity in various cell types.USP14, a deubiquitinating enzyme, plays a crucial role in the regulation of protein turnover and quality control in cells. Dysregulation of USP14 has been linked to various diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders and cancer.
By studying USP14 using this antibody, researchers can gain insights into the mechanisms underlying these diseases and potentially identify new therapeutic targets.Overall, the Anti-USP14 Antibody (CAB19589) is a valuable tool for scientists conducting research in the fields of cell biology, biochemistry, and drug discovery. Its high specificity and sensitivity make it an essential component of any study focused on understanding the role of USP14 in health and disease.
Product Name:
USP14 Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody
SKU:
CAB19589
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit
Reactivity:
Human,Mouse,Rat
Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 371-473 of human USP14 (P54578).
This gene encodes a member of the ubiquitin-specific processing (UBP) family of proteases that is a deubiquitinating enzyme (DUB) with His and Cys domains. This protein is located in the cytoplasm and cleaves the ubiquitin moiety from ubiquitin-fused precursors and ubiquitinylated proteins. Mice with a mutation that results in reduced expression of the ortholog of this protein are retarded for growth, develop severe tremors by 2 to 3 weeks of age followed by hindlimb paralysis and death by 6 to 10 weeks of age. Alternate transcriptional splice variants, encoding different isoforms, have been characterized.
