The UFD1L Polyclonal Antibody (CAB20977) is a valuable tool for research involving UFD1L, a protein involved in the ubiquitin-proteasome system and protein degradation pathways. This antibody, raised in rabbits, shows high reactivity with human samples and is specifically validated for use in Western blot applications.UFD1L is a key player in maintaining cellular homeostasis by facilitating the degradation of misfolded or damaged proteins, thereby preventing the accumulation of toxic protein aggregates. Dysregulation of UFD1L has been linked to various diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders and cancer.
Therefore, studying the expression and function of UFD1L can provide insights into disease mechanisms and potential therapeutic targets. With its ability to detect UFD1L in different cell types, the CAB20977 antibody is a valuable tool for researchers in the fields of cell biology, neurology, and oncology. By enabling the detection and analysis of UFD1L protein levels, this antibody contributes to a better understanding of protein degradation pathways and their implications in various diseases.
Product Name:
UFD1L Monoclonal Antibody

20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit

Human,Mouse,Rat
Immunogen:
A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence within amino acids 1-100 of human UFD1L (Q92890).
The protein encoded by this gene forms a complex with two other proteins, nuclear protein localization-4 and valosin-containing protein, and this complex is necessary for the degradation of ubiquitinated proteins. In addition, this complex controls the disassembly of the mitotic spindle and the formation of a closed nuclear envelope after mitosis. Mutations in this gene have been associated with Catch 22 syndrome as well as cardiac and craniofacial defects. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms. A related pseudogene has been identified on chromosome 18.
