The Anti-Trimethyl Histone H3 (K36) Antibody (CAB20379) is a valuable tool for researchers studying epigenetic modifications in gene expression regulation. This antibody, derived from rabbits, exhibits high specificity for detecting trimethylated histone H3 at lysine 36 in human samples. Validated for use in various research applications, including Western blotting, this antibody enables precise detection and analysis of histone H3 modifications in different cell types.Histone H3 trimethylation at lysine 36 is crucial for chromatin structure and gene transcription regulation. Aberrant histone modifications have been implicated in various diseases, including cancer and developmental disorders.
By targeting trimethylated histone H3 at lysine 36, researchers can gain insights into the role of epigenetic regulation in disease progression and potentially identify new therapeutic targets. This Anti-Trimethyl Histone H3 (K36) Antibody is a valuable tool for researchers in the fields of epigenetics, cancer biology, and developmental biology. By studying histone modifications, researchers can uncover new mechanisms of gene regulation and potentially develop novel therapeutic approaches for diseases associated with aberrant epigenetic changes.
Histones are basic nuclear proteins that are responsible for the nucleosome structure of the chromosomal fiber in eukaryotes. Nucleosomes consist of approximately 146 bp of DNA wrapped around a histone octamer composed of pairs of each of the four core histones (H2A, H2B, H3, and H4). The chromatin fiber is further compacted through the interaction of a linker histone, H1, with the DNA between the nucleosomes to form higher order chromatin structures. This gene is intronless and encodes a replication-dependent histone that is a member of the histone H3 family. Transcripts from this gene lack polyA tails; instead, they contain a palindromic termination element. This gene is located separately from the other H3 genes that are in the histone gene cluster on chromosome 6p22-p21.3.

Chromatin immunoprecipitations were performed with cross-linked chromatin from HeLa cells and H3K36me3 Rabbit mAb (CAB20379). The ChIP sequencing results indicate the enrichment pattern of H3K36me3 in selected genomic region and representative gene loci (GAPDH), as shown in figure.
