The Anti-TIRAP Antibody (CAB9663) is a highly specific and sensitive tool for studying Toll/interleukin-1 receptor (TIR) domain-containing adapter protein (TIRAP). TIRAP is a key adaptor protein involved in Toll-like receptor (TLR) signaling pathways, which play a crucial role in the innate immune response. This polyclonal antibody, generated in rabbits, is designed for use in various research applications, including Western blotting, immunofluorescence, and immunohistochemistry. It specifically targets TIRAP, allowing for the detection and analysis of TIRAP protein levels and localization in different cell types and tissues.
The Anti-TIRAP Antibody is an essential tool for researchers studying the molecular mechanisms of TLR signaling and its implications in immune responses, inflammation, and host defense against pathogens. By elucidating the role of TIRAP in these processes, this antibody can contribute to the development of novel therapeutic strategies for infectious diseases, autoimmune disorders, and inflammatory conditions.

The innate immune system recognizes microbial pathogens through Toll-like receptors (TLRs), which identify pathogen-associated molecular patterns. Different TLRs recognize different pathogen-associated molecular patterns and all TLRs have a Toll-interleukin 1 receptor (TIR) domain, which is responsible for signal transduction. The protein encoded by this gene is a TIR adaptor protein involved in the TLR4 signaling pathway of the immune system. It activates NF-kappa-B, MAPK1, MAPK3 and JNK, which then results in cytokine secretion and the inflammatory response. Alternative splicing of this gene results in several transcript variants; however, not all variants have been fully described.
