The STK36 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB10974) is a valuable tool for research involving STK36, a protein kinase involved in various cellular processes. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific to human samples and is validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the STK36 protein, this antibody enables the detection and analysis of STK36 in different cell types, making it ideal for studies in cell biology and signal transduction pathways.STK36, also known as serine/threonine kinase 36, plays a crucial role in regulating cell growth, differentiation, and development. Its involvement in cellular signaling pathways makes it a key player in processes such as cell cycle progression and gene expression regulation.
Research on STK36 is important for understanding its function in normal cellular processes as well as its potential role in diseases such as cancer and genetic disorders.Overall, the STK36 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB10974) is a valuable research tool for studying the function and regulation of STK36 in various biological contexts. Its specificity and reliability make it a trusted reagent for researchers looking to investigate the role of STK36 in cellular pathways and disease mechanisms.

This gene encodes a member of the serine/threonine kinase family of enzymes. This family member is similar to a Drosophila protein that plays a key role in the Hedgehog signaling pathway. This human protein is a positive regulator of the GLI zinc-finger transcription factors. Knockout studies of the homologous mouse gene suggest that defects in this human gene may lead to congenital hydrocephalus, possibly due to a functional defect in motile cilia. Because Hedgehog signaling is frequently activated in certain kinds of gastrointestinal cancers, it has been suggested that this gene is a target for the treatment of these cancers. Alternative splicing of this gene results in multiple transcript variants.
