The Anti-SAR1B Antibody (CAB4712) is a valuable tool for researchers interested in studying SAR1B, a key protein involved in intracellular transport processes. This polyclonal antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with samples from various species, including human, mouse, and rat. It has been validated for use in multiple applications, including Western blot and immunohistochemistry, enabling detection and visualization of SAR1B in different tissue types.SAR1B is a critical component of the COPII complex, which is responsible for the transport of proteins from the endoplasmic reticulum to the Golgi apparatus.
Dysregulation of SAR1B function can lead to impaired protein trafficking and contribute to various disease states, such as metabolic disorders and neurodegenerative conditions. By studying SAR1B using this antibody, researchers can gain insights into the mechanisms underlying these diseases and potentially identify new therapeutic targets for intervention.
Product Name:
SAR1B Polyclonal Antibody

20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit

Human
Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1-198 of human SAR1B (NP_057187.1).
The protein encoded by this gene is a small GTPase that acts as a homodimer. The encoded protein is activated by the guanine nucleotide exchange factor PREB and is involved in protein transport from the endoplasmic reticulum to the Golgi. This protein is part of the COPII coat complex. Defects in this gene are a cause of chylomicron retention disease (CMRD), also known as Anderson disease (ANDD). Two transcript variants encoding the same protein have been found for this gene.
