The RBFOX2 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB20810) is a valuable tool for researchers studying RBFOX2, a key RNA-binding protein involved in various cellular processes, including alternative splicing and mRNA stability. This antibody, derived from rabbits, exhibits high specificity and sensitivity in detecting RBFOX2 in human samples, making it an essential reagent for Western blot and immunohistochemistry applications.RBFOX2, also known as Fox-2, has been implicated in multiple functions within the cell, such as regulating gene expression and influencing cell differentiation and development. Dysregulation of RBFOX2 has been linked to various diseases, including neurological disorders and certain cancers, highlighting the importance of studying its function in different contexts.
By using the RBFOX2 Polyclonal Antibody, researchers can gain insights into the role of RBFOX2 in normal cellular processes and disease pathology. This antibody's ability to specifically recognize RBFOX2 protein in various cell types makes it an invaluable tool for investigations in molecular biology, genetics, and cancer research. Understanding the molecular mechanisms involving RBFOX2 could potentially lead to the development of novel therapeutic strategies targeting RBFOX2-related diseases.

This gene is one of several human genes similar to the C. elegans gene Fox-1. This gene encodes an RNA binding protein that is thought to be a key regulator of alternative exon splicing in the nervous system and other cell types. The protein binds to a conserved UGCAUG element found downstream of many alternatively spliced exons and promotes inclusion of the alternative exon in mature transcripts. The protein also interacts with the estrogen receptor 1 transcription factor and regulates estrogen receptor 1 transcriptional activity. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
