The Radixin Polyclonal Antibody (CAB19751) is a vital tool for researchers studying the protein Radixin, an important component of cell membranes that plays a crucial role in cell adhesion and signaling. This antibody, generated in rabbits, is highly specific to human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications.Radixin is a member of the ERM (ezrin, radixin, moesin) protein family and is involved in linking the plasma membrane to the actin cytoskeleton, contributing to cell shape and movement. Dysregulation of Radixin has been linked to various diseases, including cancer and neurological disorders.
By using the Radixin Polyclonal Antibody, researchers can accurately detect and analyze the expression of Radixin in different cell types, providing valuable insights into its function and potential therapeutic applications. This antibody is a valuable tool for studies in cell biology, cancer research, and neurobiology, offering a deeper understanding of the role of Radixin in various physiological and pathological processes.

Radixin is a cytoskeletal protein that may be important in linking actin to the plasma membrane. It is highly similar in sequence to both ezrin and moesin. The radixin gene has been localized by fluorescence in situ hybridization to 11q23. A truncated version representing a pseudogene (RDXP2) was assigned to Xp21.3. Another pseudogene that seemed to lack introns (RDXP1) was mapped to 11p by Southern and PCR analyses. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
