The Anti-PSA (KLK3) Antibody (CAB4355) is a high-quality research tool designed for the detection and analysis of Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA, also known as KLK3) in human samples. This polyclonal antibody, raised in rabbits, is specifically validated for use in Western blot applications and is highly reactive with PSA protein.PSA is a well-known biomarker for prostate cancer and is commonly used in clinical diagnostics. This antibody enables researchers to accurately detect and measure PSA levels in various cell types, making it an essential tool for studies in cancer research and diagnostics.Understanding the role of PSA in prostate cancer progression and response to treatment is vital for improving patient outcomes.
This antibody provides a reliable means of investigating PSA expression and activity, facilitating research into new therapies and diagnostic approaches for prostate cancer.Overall, the Anti-PSA (KLK3) Antibody (CAB4355) is a valuable resource for researchers studying prostate cancer, biomarker discovery, and cancer diagnostics. Its high specificity and sensitivity make it a trusted tool for advancing our understanding of PSA biology and its implications in cancer research.

Kallikreins are a subgroup of serine proteases having diverse physiological functions. Growing evidence suggests that many kallikreins are implicated in carcinogenesis and some have potential as novel cancer and other disease biomarkers. The gene is one of the fifteen kallikrein subfamily members located in a cluster on chromosome 19. It encodes a single-chain glycoprotein, a protease which is synthesized in the epithelial cells of the prostate gland, and is present in seminal plasma. It is thought to function normally in the liquefaction of seminal coagulum, presumably by hydrolysis of the high molecular mass seminal vesicle protein. The serum level of this protein, called PSA in the clinical setting, is useful in the diagnosis and monitoring of prostatic carcinoma. Alternate splicing of this gene generates several transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
