The Anti-PKM2 Specific Antibody (CAB18799) is a valuable tool for research involving pyruvate kinase M2 (PKM2), a key enzyme involved in glycolysis and cellular metabolism. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific and reactive with human samples, making it ideal for protein detection and analysis in various cell types.PKM2 has been identified as a critical player in cancer metabolism and tumorigenesis, making it a promising target for cancer research and therapy development. The Anti-PKM2 Specific Antibody binds specifically to the PKM2 protein, allowing for accurate detection and quantification in Western blot applications.
Its specificity and high reactivity make it a valuable tool for studying the role of PKM2 in cancer progression and metabolic reprogramming.By understanding the function and regulation of PKM2, researchers can gain insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying cancer metabolism and potentially identify new therapeutic strategies targeting this pathway. The Anti-PKM2 Specific Antibody is a reliable tool for investigating the role of PKM2 in cancer biology and metabolic diseases, leading to advancements in the development of targeted therapies and diagnostic tools.
Product Name:
PKM2-specific Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
SKU:
CAB18799
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG

Human,Mouse,Rat
Immunogen:
A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence within amino acids 380-480 of human PKM2-specific (NP_002645.3).
This gene encodes a protein involved in glycolysis. The encoded protein is a pyruvate kinase that catalyzes the transfer of a phosphoryl group from phosphoenolpyruvate to ADP, generating ATP and pyruvate. This protein has been shown to interact with thyroid hormone and may mediate cellular metabolic effects induced by thyroid hormones. This protein has been found to bind Opa protein, a bacterial outer membrane protein involved in gonococcal adherence to and invasion of human cells, suggesting a role of this protein in bacterial pathogenesis. Several alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding a few distinct isoforms have been reported.
